Race day tomorrow for dad, weather should be at worst overcast, at best a bit of sun. Beats filming in pouring rain with a stiffe breeze blowing.
(Glorious E30 running in dad’s class, with a Volvo B23 turbo engine)
My car is parked on the lift, i will begin removal of the old engine sunday if all goes to plan. ETA for running car = sometime the week after, presumably.
New regulator, since current alternator is getting worn down.
“polished” from another engine we had lying around, sure beats one that’s white all over from corrosion.
Mostly together, just missing the few bits that i have to transfer directly from my current engine, along with the gearbox.
